Ji\u0159\u00ed Ro\u017ee\u0148\u2019s strong identity as a Czech conductor with a broad training is as manifest in his diverse and often adventurous repertoire as in the dynamic trajectory of his career.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Ro\u017ee\u0148\u2019s substantial schedule has taken him to the UK (Hall\u00e9, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National, Scottish Chamber Orchestra), Germany (Bochumer Symphoniker, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden, MDR-Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, Staatsorchester Kassel) France (Orchestre National de Metz), the Netherlands (Philharmonie Zuidnederland), Belgium (Antwerp Symphony, Brussels Philharmonic, Orchestre National de Belgique, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Li\u00e8ge), Scandinavia (Aalborg Symphony, Danish Radio Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra), Spain (Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de las Islas Baleares), the USA (Naples Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Utah Symphony), Japan (Hiroshima Symphony) and China (Nanjing Forest Music Festival). In the Czech Republic, Ro\u017ee\u0148 appeared with the Brno Philharmonic, Jan\u00e1\u010dek Philharmonic Ostrava, Prague Philharmonia and Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year 2025 by the leading German magazine Opernwelt, he conducted at the Prague State Opera the Czech premiere of Ligeti\u2019s Le Grand Macabre<\/em>, and Erwin Schulhoff\u2019s Flammen<\/em> (directed by Calixto Bieito. Ro\u017ee\u0148\u2019s repertoire at the Prague State Opera has also embraced Schoenberg\u2019s Erwartung<\/em>, Weill\u2019s Die Sieben Tods\u00fcnden<\/em>, and Dvo\u0159\u00e1k\u2019s Rusalka<\/em>. In Ostrava he took charge of the Czech premiere of Luigi Nono\u2019s Prometeo. Tragedia dell’ascolto <\/em>and conducted Smetana\u2019s The Bartered Bride<\/em> for Gothenburg Opera. He collaborated on a new production of Jan\u00e1\u010dek\u2019s K\u00e1\u0165a Kabanov\u00e1<\/em> for Bergen National Opera. In January 2026, he conducts the world premiere of Ana Sokolovi\u0107\u2019s Clown(s)<\/em> at the opera in Montr\u00e9al, and in June 2026, Kurt Weill\u2019s Der Zar l\u00e4sst sich fotografieren<\/em> and Carl Orff\u2019s Die Kluge<\/em> at the Frankfurt Opera.<\/p>\n\n\n
